A blog of my thoughts while in Hong Kong. I was born near Ottawa, I grew up near and in Montreal, and I am currently transplanted to Hong Kong where my parents met and married.

Me enjoying a drink at the harbor in Sai-Kunn. Here's to you guys back home
Yep. San Miguel tastes very good. Like my favorite beer Moosehead. But it tastes disgusting warm. And with the heat here, it gets pretty warm. At least I have a good excuse to drink it fast. And order another.
Also: they sell beer in stores all day. At least the place near my flat does.
Bringing beer in luggage is a very bad idea. Cans look like pipebombs to the Xray guy, and bottles can get broken with the way they throw around the luggage. Add to that the added risk of the beer blowing up from all the shaking.
Instead I can get the superior Moosehead beer in Canada. You know Canadian beer; pretty damn good.

I think the proper spelling of the town is Sai Kung.
Is that a San Miguel?

Kool!
Just remember to bring some back with you. We can't get San Mig here anymore, and even when we could, it wasn't brewed in HK.
