I had my first argument with a store today. And mostly in chinese too. It
seems I communicate better in Cantonese when I'm:

  1. drunk/drinking
  2. upset and find things ridiculous.

I went to one of those photo-printing shops. When I went to pick up my
photos, they hadn't printed them. One of my digital images was tiled -and
they have a company policy not to print images that are tiled. Why? That's
as much sense as I can gather without:

  1. knocking my head unconscious trying to make sense of it
  2. giving a complete lesson on English swear words before charging a full
    course fee.

Anyway, I learned the following words in chinese:

    1. show (me)
    2. written (or printed)
    3. (company) policy
      and
    4. gimme-my-damn-money

It was also a long day for me. Another succesful evening of promoting
stereotypes of westerners in dear old local town of Jyun-sek-sahn (Dia-mond-Hill)
